Welcome

A word from our Sponsors

The Commonwealth Volunteer Grants Programme has funded the purchasing of screens for the classrooms A1 and A3, which were installed at the beginning of Term 1, 2009.

They also funded the Fuel Grant for 2009 which allowed us to contribute to the fuel costs incurred by some of our volunteers, including our tutors, without whom we could not function.

In February '09 an induction loop sound system for those with hearing aids was installed in Room 3, 'A' Block of the Kingston Adult Education building thanks to a special grant of nearly $6000 from the Tasmanian Premier, David Bartlett, to Kingborough U3A, for which the committee are particularly grateful.

U3A Kingborough wish to thank our local Member of Parliament, Ross Butler, for his generous support in the reproduction of our newsletters

We thank the 2008 Adult and Community Education Policy Grants Programme for meeting the costs of our "Into the Internet Age" courses.
